You’re planning your wedding, so… How does the hair and makeup work?

I have makeup and hair pricing options. My three options would include you and at least two others on the day. You may add more people to these packages at a discounted price. A pair of lashes for the bride is included in these packages.

My makeup packages have two options. With both options, you can add extra faces (in addition to the faces included in the package) at a discounted rate.

My hairstyling only has the package as a minimum booking amount. You may add more people to this package at a discounted price.

Do you cater for large bridal parties?

We can happily do up to 10 people for hair and makeup. When booking for 6 or more hair and makeup, I will book a second artist to work with me on the day. I have amazing, experienced colleagues and we work seamlessly together to make your day run smoothly. We are experienced in high pressure situations, so you are in great hands!

Do you travel?

I am a traveling makeup and hair artist, meaning I come to your wedding venue! I travel all over South Africa (and abroad!) My travel costs are calculated per km return, from Pretoria, Gauteng. For venues more than 250km from Pretoria, I would need overnight accommodation (one or two nights, depending on the location of the venue).

How does payment work?

Once you receive your quote, a 50% deposit secures your booking, after which we schedule your trial and the fun begins! The balance can be settled before the day of the wedding.

What happens during the trial?

Your makeup and hair trial is an in-depth session where we discuss, design and execute your desired look for your wedding day. We get to know each other, chat about your preferences, and what needs to happen on the day. We schedule extra time on the trial, so if the look needs to be tweaked, we have plenty of time to try different things until you feel amazing. I encourage reference pictures, and lots of questions! I do not have a signature makeup look; I am an expert at creating a look that works for you, from natural and classic to bold and dramatic.

Which brand do you use?

I only use professional grade products. Primarily MAC Cosmetics, supplemented with other tried and tested professional brands. During the trial, I ask about your skin type and any other sensitivities so that I use the best products for you. I make sure you look just as good in person as you do in your pictures!
